So remember a week or so ago, I was going to a job fair at Great America? I did't go. DH and I (well mostly DH) decided that my job now (staying home and taking care of the house the kids, was more important. Also, if I went to work, I wouldn't finish school. Well, I got a call yesturday from Great America wanting a job interview. DH did acknowledge that getting a call after a job fair was a good thing, but the previous stipulations still apply. His arguement is because I'll be the "new guy" I'll get the crap shifts and never see my family. I think "never" is a bit of an exageration, but I get his point and I REALLY want to finish school.

Wishing you the best with whatever you decide to do. As far as being the "new guy" and getting cruddy shifts is that really how you think that would pan out? I would have thought a place like that with the variety of people they get in would work with those in school and with families and get hours that suit everyone.
