Autumn has arrived! The leaves are turning, there's dew on the ground, my sinuses are going nuts, and gas has dropped ten cents a gallon. All is well with the world!

Oh no, not Bonzo's Speedos again And just as I thought we'd be safe now Autumn (Fall) was here

Steph, Astrid and I both live in the New Forest, surrounded by trees and it's so beautiful this time of the year. They started to change colour early this year, I'm guessing because of the hot, dry summer we've had.

I love autumn too. Funny about your dry weather. It's been so wet over here. That's one of the reasons we lost so many trees in the hurricane--the ground was saturated. I'm not sure it's going to translate into a colorful turning leaves display though. We'll have to wait and see.

No kidding about the temp Lorraine. It's freezing this morning. I heard the ominous plop plop of acorns on the deck last night.

We have also had a wonderful start to Autumn so far - we have fields and woods close by where I walk the dog and it has been lovely - to follow a fantastic Summer!

Here's a did you know for Steph ... that ONLY Speedos are allowed in some continental swimming pools as people have been found to be wearing their outdoor shorts in place of swimming shorts!!

If you are in a swimming club over here and I guess in Europe too, you have to wear Speedos because well...... it's in the name! Swimming shorts slow you down!
