Hi Ladies (and guys, I'm sure there's a few of you lurking around here too…),

I just wanted to say hello and kind of join this board as I will be spending my honeymoon in WDW in NOV.

My fiance & I have been engaged for a year and it's getting down to the wire now so we have to actually start planning lol. We're a couple of mid-30's nerdy types who also love Disney. I'm really into Halloween and goth art and clothing. I'm also really into music, all of it. Fiance is really into death metal, power metal and his metal band. When he's not doing that, he's really into retro video games and making all kinds of 8 bit art. We both love food, wine, all things Japan, Ren Faires and comic books (we met in a comic book store, and he proposed to me in that same comic book store… lol)

We're getting married on Halloween here in MA and spending the night near the airport in NH. We're then flying out the next morning to Orlando. I've been to WDW about 35 times and he's been once. But I know nothing about planning a honeymoon WDW trip. Obviously, we want this to be the best trip ever. Oh, and my birthday falls on Nov 2, also. I'll be wearing a lot of buttons that day.

We're staying at : We were comp'd 3 free nights at YC (due to some "mishaps" on our last trip…ugh) and plan to spend the other two nights CL at AKL. We're only staying 5 nights and 6 days.

We're eating at: I booked us the castle for dinner on Wednesday. I would like to eat at Mexico for my bday because I love that place, and also am hoping they might do something for Dia De los Muertos. Does anyone know if they do?

We'd like to : go to the last MNSSHP on Nov 1, get a couple's massage, take a tour and eat at a few other nice places. Any suggestions?

I'd like to : have a cake delivered to him either at AKL or at the Castle during dinner. I had a rough time ordering a cake before. Does the GF bakery deliver to MK? FI loves the Lion King and I really want to have a special Simba & Nala cake made for him. Not sure if that's possible though.

So, hello and if you have any suggestions for me, I would love to hear them!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! My husband and I went to WDW for our honeymoon last year in February and had an amazing time :)

congrats and welcome!

we've done the "behind the magic" (I think!!) - the long one? it was fun! definitely recommend!! i think with the "celebrate" promotion, there are a variety of "smaller" cakes you can pre-arrange through calling disney dining i think. check out the website and you'll dig up a bunch of things!!

have a great time!!
