I have booked my 2nd WDW trip for April 2006. I am taking my 8 Year old son for the first time! We are both excited. We are staying on property (for the first time)at the Pop Century. I have read the birnbaum's book front to back 15 times trying to make this a magical adventure without missing anything. Since this will be a "Mom and Son" trip does anyone have any suggestions, or tips to pass along? 93 days and counting!!

Dont laugh..............does vmk mean visit the magic kingdom? I'm new and not yet up on the abbreviations! If so............Yes i have planned to visit the magic kingdom for a full day on the day we arrive.
VMK = Virtual Magic Kingdom. It's an on-line game based "virtual" magic kingdom.
My only advise is to take the time to relax a bit while you are on your trip. My favorite trip was one that I took with my DH and my two girls. We took it easy and took breaks each day to relax at the pool. Go at your son's pace and don't try to get everything done in one trip. You'll be too stressed out to enjoy anything.
Enjoy! And ask away if you have any questions. The Dis is a great place to get information from the "unofficial experts"!
