Hi to everyone! Long-time lurker, first-time poster. My boyfriend and I are planning our 2nd trip together for February 5-7. This time we'll be staying at the Disneyland Hotel. Last time we went, which was October '10, we stayed at the Grand Californian which spoiled us for staying at non-Disney Hotels. I can't wait to get to know the great members here better and share stories

grand california is a Disney Resort, under Disney Vacation Club (unless there is another resort by the same name I don't know about)
If it is the one at Downtown Disney, It is Disney... and I love that resort more than the others on Disneyland property... but all of them are great! ENJOY!

Thanks everyone! I really had a good time when I went around Columbus Day '10. That had been my first time going in a good while but had never stayed at a Disney hotel. I've read really cool things about the DH online so I'm really excited. I've never been to DL in winter though. I've heard the crowds are lower but it's rainy. I'm going to have fun either way!
