My mom restarted it So I get to watch the video montage again. But what I've seen I'm really liking James Franco and Anne Hathaway as hosts. I love them both to begin with.

I just feel awful every time I'm like "HEY I'M GOING ON A TRIP AND I'M GOING TO TAKE MILLIONS OF PICTURES AND TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT!" but then never follow through until months later.

Okay...let me just be the mean one and put it out there...

I feel terrible for saying this but it was a bad idea to have Kirk Douglas announce the first 'major' award of the night. Bless his heart - I feel so bad for him that he suffered the stroke. But he is hard to understand (obviously), and it killed a lot of the suspense of the moment.

It was just painful and awkward, and it slowed everythng down, and I'm really surprised that the producers agreed to it.

Now...where is my Christian.... All he needs is a good razor. I don't mind if he grows his hair, but the full beard I can't deal with.

My dad was pretty excited to see him out to present the award. I don't particularly have an opinion one way or another. I actually think it's awesome considering how old he is.

I have no issue with 'old.' There are lots of old people who appear on the Oscars every year. But Kirk's condition (and speech) does not lend itself to presenting a major award like that at the beginning of the show. It was painful to see for me. Very uncomfortable.

I think I have to say my favorite is Hailee Steinfeld from True Grit. The girl is 14 and I am absolutely in love with her overall look.

She does look super cute. She lost I didn't see either movie (true grit or the fighter) so it's not like I can judge that part
