I was in LA for a hair show earlier this month, and I stopped by Disneyland for 2-3 hours before I drove home. Just hung out a bit. It was nice.

I meant TR wise. I'm still taking a camera, although I don't think I'm bringing the Nikon.

I liked it a lot. It was warm, I wandered around, rode a few things, had lunch, and bought treats to take home right away for the family.

Jessica I only half of the bags done.....so today is doing the other 18 bags.....ugh.......I have everything stenciled but the palm tree......so almost have them done....just giving the bags time to dry before I do the last thing on them.

I'm looking at my hands & thinking.....red paint not a good look on me. Even as a girl I didn't like having dirty hands & having paint stains on them is not making me happy.

I hope you bring a camera Jessica!!! If you're not going to share on the boards what you take, I'd love to get a copy of them for me!!! I'll share them in my TR, noting the awesome photographer that donated them to the cause.....lol

we took Peanut and Duffy and the dog dogs for a walk a little while ago.. now he is laying with grammy trying to take a nap.. i think he has a fever and he has a nasty cough and a ruuuuunnnny nose!

I'm so pitiful - I'm switching back and forth between 4 channels with red carpet coverage!! I get bored with one channel because they are yapping about something I don't care about...and then I just keep switching to another channel. There's plenty to go around!! If I hear one more thing about "Natalie's baby bump," I will scream.

Laurie - You'll be able to get them all done! And I'm with you on the paint covered hands. That is another reason why I hated art classes.

Sherry - I would be switching through all red carpet channels but I'm sticking with E because of my remote debacle. Although it gets awkward for me anytime Guiliana talks about anyone pregnant or babies period.

Kids aren't interested in the red carpet, so we have the Disney Channel on instead. Is Juliana the one that has been trying to get pregnant, but has miscarried a bit?? I think I know who she is. So sad to think of people that so badly want children and can't & then there are those that pop out a dozens to up there welfare check & not because they want them. The twins I have were babies 7 & 8......the parents popped one more out after the twins. They don't have custody of any of the 9 children.....sad, sad, sad!

And yeah that's her. She's been on the red carpet for the entire award season (but not tonight, she was just talking fashion) and it was just so uncomfortable to watch her interview Natalie Portman and others who were either pregnant/had recent additions to their family. Life can be so unfair sometime, it's true.

I'm never sure what Giuliana's hair color will be. She seems to go back and forth between being a brunette and a blonde. Yes, the pregnancy stuff must be very uncomfortable for her. She co-hosts the weekly Fashion Police shows that air every Friday nights, and she gets to let loose on some bad fashion, so maybe that helps her let off some steam!

I just flipped over to the ABC show 15 minutes ago when they were interviewing James Franco - talk about a waste of airtime. The interviewer from ABC had absolutely NOTHING relevant to ask, and James had no clue how to answer the non-questions, so there were these awkward pauses and silences. They should ban these stupid interviewers from the Oscars.

I'm not sure about some of these dresses tonight. I know everyone on E! loved Gwyneth's dress, but I didn't really like it. I didn't like Scarlet Johansson's hair (not right for the Oscars, I didn't think). Natalie's dress was nice.

The gals on E! (Giuliana and Kelly O.) had no taste tonight. Every dress I abhorred they seemed to love. I mean ... They liked this (Cate Blanchett). I really hope they were just trying to be nice on air. It'll be interesting to see how they change their tunes tomorrow.

I could go on and on. I've been focusing my energy on this for a couple hours now.

I think I have to say my favorite is Hailee Steinfeld from True Grit. The girl is 14 and I am absolutely in love with her overall look. It would be a total dream for me at her age to get all glammed up like that.

I hated that Cate Blanchett dress too! It was not good at all! I don't mind Scarlett's hair for another occasion. It's fine for something else - but not for the Oscars. Too casual.

I should point out, too - it is not a warm day. It has only been in the low 50's for the last few hours. Many of those women were exposing some skin. I assume there were heaters/heat lamps on the red carpet.

I missed Christian Bale's arrival - darn it! - but I love him! I don't love his bad temper, but I love his look! Did he have a full beard or something?
