Hello from the Portofino!!!

Damo, did you get to see the musica della notte at the Portifino ? If so, how was it ?

I think that was the balcony singing that goes on at dinnertime? If so, it was lovely! We heard a couple of different people. It is neat because they have a spotlight on this one balcony in the middle of the hotel and he is serenading the peeps!

I know, I have seen them and they are great. I have never stayed at the Portofino, but I have gone over to eat at Sals. (love their pizza and salads) But when I go in a couple of weeks, I am going to check out the pool and hang out for the day. Seeing your pictures of the pool and grounds made it an easy decision. Thank You !

Damo - It was great to meet you. We had a fun, but short vacation. It stinks to be back in the cold - it was 9 here yesterday, but with the windchill about 20 below!!

I was banned by my son from taking pictures. He got a new camera from his grandparents for Christmas, and this was his first chance to use it. He took quite a few pictures, I will definately post some later in the week. It was kind of cool, not to worry about taking pictures and lugging the camera around for once!
