Hello from the Magic!!

Hi everyone, I wanted to say hello from the Magic!! I hope that through this post that I can bring each of you alittle closer to your next cruise!! It is just like being home....only better, no freezing rain or work or cooking....I think you get the picture!!

So far the filming has not impacted us at all, I know that it is only day one. Today Jim was dancing on stage with the characters and kept knocking Goofy off the stage, it was all pretty cool!

I will try to keep you all posted!

Thanks for the update, Janet. I have family members on this cruise and it's nice to hear what's going on. I hope it stays dry for you in Key West, they are forecasting thunderstorms. Hope you have a great time!!

They are filming some upcoming episodes of ABC's "According to Jim" this week during the cruise.

I just looked at the radar for Port Canaveral and there are nasty rainstorms going through right now! YUCK! Hopefully these will pass through the area quickly.

Just looked at the webcam at Key West and the weather looks great there however!

Thanks for the update. Hopefully you are having nice weather today. Even DCL can make the rain fun though, as last cruise both of our deck parties had to be inside due to rain.

I was at my computer this morning checking emails and surfing the DIS board and decided to check the Key West webcam. Much to my surprise, I was just in time to catch the Magic on her approach to the dock!

Quick thinking and I was off doing screen captures, pasting and creating new documents on my computer like a wild woman! The result of my efforts can be seen by following this link.

There are 60 frames that are included in this animation of the Magic docking. There would be more but I don't know if my computer was freaking out due to all the ram I was using or if the webcam in Key West just wasn't refreshing for a period of time.

I've gained so much knowledge from this board that I wanted to give a little back to all the forum members.

I'll keep the small show up because it shouldn't eat up all my bandwidth but the large show will have to come down when my bandwidth gets to a certain point since I have clients that need to get to my website at all times.

I'm glad I was able to share with everyone!
