Hello DISboards, after lurking here on and off and being the dad of a family full of Disney lovers, I've finally joined here. We have been to WDW the past two years and are visiting Disneyland/DCA this August. After that in January we are taking our first cruise with DCL out of Miami on the Magic. SO excited! We have two daughters, 3 and 1. The one year old's a little young, but my older girl loves the parks and the Disney characters. I'm a certified Disney fan and listen to several podcasts weekly, read all the main news sites, read lots of background/history books, etc. I've got a somewhat nascent pin collection that's coming along nicely, although it's mostly stuff I'd be bummed to part with 
Personally, my favorite park is Animal Kingdom and my favorite ride is Carousel of Progress. It's so hopeful, forward thinking and wonderful, just like much of Disney at it's best. Looking forward to meeting people, chatting parks and Disney and maybe meeting some folks from our upcoming cruise!
