I just "re-joined" the board and wanted to say hi! My wife and I are doing an "adults" week at Disney World and will be there on November 15th! (2008) :cool1: It's been several years since our last visit ... I CAN'T WAIT!!! ... Woo Hoo! :woohoo:

:welcome: And have a great Walt Disney Vacation. Where are you and your wife staying.

:welcome: fellow NH-ite! Soggy weather here in NH today! :( Adults only trip - Sounds like fun - how old are your kids? :surfweb: I can't imagine going to WDW w/o my boys! I would feel guilty the entire time I think... HAve fun! :wizard:

My children aren't children anymore, they're young adults. I "kind of" wish we were staying on Disney property, i love their magical hotels, but we bought into a "different" vacation club a few years back so will be staying off property. The down side is were not in the magic 24/7 but the up side is we'll have a full condo for less then it cost to stay at the Pop Century. Since Disney stopped the all inclusive ticket a few years ago I think a lot of the incentive to stay on property has gone. Still .. you can't touch Disney hotels for atmosphere! We'll be only a mle away and will have a rental car so it'll still be wonderful.

Hey! Welcome back and way to indulge by taking an "adults" trip to WDW! I'm jealous of you though, your trip is WAY sooner than ours. Have fun! :thumbsup2

"NEXT MONTH WE GO TO DISNEY WORLD!!" :yay:  :thumbsup2 pirate: :dance3:  :cool1:

I feel like a little kid waiting for Santa! :santa:

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Your trip(s) will be here before you know it! :thumbsup2

:goodvibes Good for you on the adult trip. I LOVEEEE going with my kids as they are youngish...but honestly look forward to the day I can go without them.:lmao: Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my time with them now...and count each Disney trip as a blessing. I would feel too guilty to go without them now and think that when that time comes...I'll be doing a different kind of happy dance!!!

Honestly ... this isn't the 1st time without kids, it's my 3rd Disney trip since my kids have become young adults. The 1st time without kids was with my wife who at the time was my bride to be (this is the 2nd marriage for both of us) ... and it felt a little strange being there without the kids. The 2nd time was after our marriage and although my kids were young adults we brought them as a "gift." And the last time with just me and the wife and we didn't feel guilty. Our children aren't children anymore. (We're in our early 50s) This trip coming next month will be OUR Disney trip. The NEXT one in 3 or 4 years we plan to bring our new grandson, (Who's a new born infant right now), daughter and son-in-law and we plan to do a Disney World/Disney Cruise trip. Sooooooo as we get older we'll be once again bringing children .. grand children! ;) So this trip is a NO GUILT adult "romantic" Disney World trip! :cloud9:
Again I CAN'T WAIT!!:yay:

Hi there! Welcome! Have a wonderful time!!! We're headed down for an "adults only" trip next Feb, to celebrate our 15th anniversary! We leave for a family trip in 20 days which I'm excited about definitely - but I'm just as excited if not more so, for the trip with just my DW!!
