Hello from newbie and leg room question

Hello all, we (myself, Dh, DS who's 6 and DD almost 3) are off to DLP on Feb 11, at least I hope so. DH has been off work with a bad knee all week and is full of doom and gloom we won't be able to go. We are driving which won't help.
I also have a problem knee, so my question is, can any recent visitors recall which rides if any might be a problem in terms of leg room? I can't bend my leg too much so being squeezed in is painful, and DH will have to be careful presuming he recovers enough to go! We have been to DLP 3 years ago, and I've been to Florida and to Tokyo a few times but it's not something I've had to consider before so I can't remember such details.

Most ride cars I would have thought you'll be fine with.
Those with more than a lap belt probably are a cosier fit.
The story book ride has a moving walkway so maybe DH should give this one a miss

We won't be going on any rides without small children so we should be OK with those ones perhaps - thanks for the tip about the Storybook ride, that is exactly the kind of thing DH should avoid.
I'm trying to temper my excitement with the knowledge we might have to cancel, but at least we haven't told the children.

If the rides are the same configuration as the ones in WDW then I think rides like Snow White's Scary Adventures (or its DLRP equivalent) aren't so great for leg room, my husband is 6'2 and he still complains about that ride because he was so squished in! But that was the only ride he ever complained about re leg room.

Funnily enough when we were at DLP the first time, when DS was 2 1/2, Snow White was the first ride he went on and it really scared him. I don't think it would scare DD who is made of sturdier stuff, but we might avoid it anyway.

The Buzz Lightyear ride also has a moving walkway to get in/out of the cars.

Phantom manor also has a moving walkway to get in and out of cars.

However, I've noticed they can stop these moving if necessary, so maybe you won't have to avoid these rides after all?

Also, if you think standing in queues may be an issue, it's worth getting a letter from your GP, requesting that consideration be given for this. Take the letter to City Hall, and they should provide you with an Easy Access Card, which will enable you to bypass the queues.

If I remember right, we entered the Storybook ride from a different entrance, and they stopped the walkway for wheelchair users to get on. We also did not have to walk over the bridge, though we did when we got off, we needn't have done though as we could easily have got off on the other side really.

With Phantom Manor we got on at the exit, and they could easily have stopped the walkway for us, had we needed them to.
