Hello from Little Miss Disorganised

Hi

This is my first post here and I'm a Disney Virgin! So I hope you can help, as I havn't a clue! I've had a look on the forum, there is a wealth of info and I am getting very excited!

Well we have decided to take Miss 5 and Miss 3 and Mr 8months old to DLP as a wonderful surprise. The most surpirsing part is we're going in two weeks time Am I insane? Well, we're going to be on the continent for something else, so it makes a lot of sense.

What is putting me off the idea is the fact that all the disney hotels are booked, no srprize, but it is tricky to get a hotel with three children, then add the cost of disney tickets, its like, yikes! Am I going about this the wrong way, has anyone got a better idea of how to make this holiday affordable? The frustrating part is its 15years celebrations "kids go free" but am I correct in understanding this is only if you stay at the disney resort?

Hi vegeboxme. Are you going to be taking your own car with you? If you are and don't mind a bit of a drive each day then you should have a look on Expedia. If you put in that you want a hotel near DLRP and choose to have your results displayed by price, you will see just how cheap some of the local hotels can be.
Sorry, I'm not sure about the under-7s thing. My 2 are older than that so I haven't paid much attention to it.

We've never stayed off site mainly because we don't have a car and most importantly can't drive so that is not an option... But I believe there're lots of people on this board who drive so maybe they can help...

Enjoy your stay!!! The look on the children's faces when they see the castle and characters is priceless!!!
