Happy Wednesday, DIS Unplugged friends! My name is Kaylee Rodriguez, and I was recently appointed the go-to person at Give Kids The World for all things amusements related - including Disney and DIS Unplugged.

First, on behalf of everyone at the Village - wish children, families, staff, volunteers - THANK YOU! The time, talent, and resources you all pour into hosting fundraising events for GKTW has made an amazing impact on the lives of the precious children we serve, and for that we are forever grateful to you.

Now, on to the business side...
Hosting a benefit event is no simple task, so we want to help you! If you are planning a fundraiser, please feel free to send me an email, give me a call, or leave a message here so we can chat about what you are doing and how the Village can support your efforts. We can share ideas, provide GKTW materials, and sometimes help spread the word to our social media followers, families, and volunteers. It also helps us to know in advance that you are fundraising for us, because then we can make sure to include everything you've raised in the overall Power of 10 Challenge total.

Kaylee, we were guests when GKTW first opened the resort. The dining hall wasn't open! It is still the best trip I have ever taken. Also, I want you to know that the recipient of the trip, , is alive and doing fine.
