Hello from California

Been lurking on the forums for the few months now. So much great information here! I look forward to getting to know some of the members here. I'm a proud DVC owner at Saratoga Springs Resort since 2004, and I'm looking to buy this into the Villas at Grand Californian Hotel and Bay Lake Tower this year. I have not been to WDW in 5 years. I can't wait to get back! I'm thinking of going this summer and staying at The Beach Club Villas.

Oh, that reminds me, has anyone been to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach? I'd have to pick one or the other to go to on my visit but they both look fun!

PS - I keep seeing posts from members using the letters DD, DH and DW.. what do they mean?

If my family had to pick one or the other between the two water parks, they would chose Typhoon Lagoon. We all love the wave pool.

DH=darling or dear husband

Can't help with the Water Park Question - we've only been to Blizzard Beach, but hope to make it to Typhone Lagoon on our next trip.

Cali is home for my family as well. Long time Disneyland fan. Been there to many times to remember sense i was an infant.

My only claim to Disney fame, my Dad played in the band at the front gate on the Opening Day at DL : ) (Well maybe not my ONLY Claim)

Headed to WDW in 38 days myself with my DH, DD and DD best Friend.
