Been lurking a few days, trying to get used to all the abbreviations! Thought I would add to the clutter of the first page by well saying "hello" :wave2:

We as a family that's my wife and two kids boy 15 girl 6 are booked up and going for two weeks in October 2014. We cannot wait and this will be our first trip to WDW!!

We are booked into the CBR for the two weeks and I have been reading the unofficial guide book from touring plans which has gave me a lot of insight but this appears to be the online encyclopedia of WDW and more! You are all wonderful people!

I have so many questions regarding our stay and how I shall be planning it so hopefully I post things in the correct area but I'm sure you wonderful beautiful people will keep me right!

I noticed by looking elsewhere on this page that there is a UK planning boards. Can I find that through this site or do I need to register on another site to get that?

Anywhos I have a massive list of questions, queries and I have already started my spreadsheet planner and shall be using this site to finish it off and make additions / changes.

I look forward to chatting to you all :)

Welcome Badger and family, the Disboards is a great place to find answers to your questions. Fire away. Be careful though, Disboards is addicting. ;)

Our family travels to Disney World every year or two. That was not our intention in the beginning but we find it to be a fun vacation for all of us (spouse, daughter age 15, and myself) and we keep coming back. We hope though to be making a trip to your Island in the next couple of years so we may be asking you questions.

Welcome, Badger! I lived in Edinburgh for four years, and miss it very much. Glad to see a (another) Scot around here. :)

Thanks for the replies everyone!

@ kid-at-heart - anything you want to know I am more than happy to help! Scotland is a very beautiful country with a lot of variety! there is more than just hills, kilts and malt whiskey!:goodvibes

I think I know what you mean by how this site can become addictive! I'm on my day off first thing I did after dropping the wee one at school was to come home, make a cup of tea and load the forum up! :)

@ MichaelaF - Edinburgh is grand! Auld Reekie it's known as to us Scots. Some wonderful architecture in that city, a really beautiful place in the center of town, princess street, royal mile, rose street, george street, grassmarket, the castle, Arthurs seat, lothain road I could go on and on. Hope you enjoyed your time in Edinburgh!
