DH has some kind of court case in Ironwood, Michigan which is about two miles from the Wisconsin border. I have about 5 hours to waste so I went looking for an internet cafe and found one in Hurley, Wisconsin, population 1818. They have one computer here :) Well, it's better than nothing and I have no way to use my laptop at the moment.

I'm quite the world traveller :) I think I'll go check out the Dairy Queen now :teeth:

Come back to the land of Huskies and those dreaded wolverines.

Hey, cool Kath!! :) I've been to Hurley, Wis. many times. . . my mom was born and raised in Ashland, Wis. about 50 miles from there, and when we visited we'd go to Hurley and get "Pastys" (a kind of pita deal with meat and potatos in it. .)

Ya better have a Pabst while you're there too. . ;) :teeth:

Hi NativeTexan! It's muggy down here in mid-Michigan tonight. But, atleast we finally got some much needed rain. Enjoy your trip and dairyqueen. I would pick a blizzard treat.:D

I'm BAAAACCCCKKKK. Hurley was a hoot :) They had a lot of bars in downtown Hurley, I think it must be a throw back to their mining days :)

WillyJ, I had a pastie today and it was yum. Wonderful flaky pastry filled with beef, potatoes and rutabaga. Really good :)

I'm so glad to be back home with my cable modem again :teeth:

ROFLOL, Kath!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhh....small towns in the Midwest.....gotta love 'em!
