I apologise for being missing in action. Have had a lot on my plate. It appears that I only have time to be here when I am on holidays....hmmmm.

Anyway, we are here in Bali for an early celebration of our wedding anniversary as well as finding cool stuff for our new home. For those building, thinking about visiting Bali, love food porn, feel free to sticky beak. My blog link remains the same....

Looking forward to Disney planning for Europe upon our return!!!

Off to breakfast now!

Happy early anniversary! Love Bali and spent heaps of time there in my youth but haven't been in nearly 20 years (yikes, that sounds scary when I say it). Enjoy your break and the fab food.

Glad you seem to be enjoying yourself... :goodvibes
Always good having a relaxing time... :thumbsup2
Even somewhere I'd never go myself :lmao:

I'm dreading the 'Bali themed indoor outdoor living area' though....
Please tell me that's not what you're doing....

How fun! Have a great holiday. Off to check blog...
Thanks!

Thank you! I do love indonesian food. And the food here in Bali both westernand Asian are always good! Really looking forward towards the next week!

Lol...no it won't be a Bali themed indoor outdoor area! We are selecting feature pieces eg stone tiles for our entry feature wall, a day bed, timber dining table, homewards etc items that I loved growing up with

Lovely. Hope you find the items you are looking for :woohoo:

Terima kasih for your beautiful blog!

The villas look beautiful. We tend to stay in hotels as the kids love making friends by the pool. We,ll have to get up there without them one day.

We haven't been up to Ubud for a few trips but may have to give it another visit. Really not sure weather i will do the luwak coffee, i do love coffee and the bali coffee is not the best. Potato head is in my list for our April trip.

The massage experience sounds interesting, I hope you do get a better one before you leave.

am checking out your blog now... hope you have an amazing time & early anniversary celebration :)

Selamat pagi dan terima kasih. Saya banyak suka tulisan anda. :thumbsup2

Hey Shushh - Just catching up. Hope you're finding the furniture and furnishings you want. That villa at Seminyak looks fantastic and I was really really jealous seeing that mangosteen. Wish I could have tasted those instead of just the screen.

How are the kids coping?

:yay: Happy Anniversary hope your having a wonderful trip :yay:

Thank you all for your well wishes. I love it how everyone's bahasa Indonesia is coming out! Its probably better than mine anyway...

Kalice, the villas are surprisingly children friendly. I've seen a few families with young children and the staff were great with them. Although I agree that with a hotel would be better with children. Enjoy Potato Head! Don't forget to bring your swimmers, something we wished we did.

Princess, thanks for asking about the children. Them I'm not worried about, its the people who have to look after them that I have concerns for! My FIL is now sick so it is not easy to "relax" completely. We are fortunate to have a big pool of family and friends who can help but it is still a little unsettling. Oh, and the mangosteens were delicious! As was the soursop juice, and avocado juice...all things that I've somehow missed taking a photo of?!?!?
