Hello from AKL

Just spent 40 minutes typing up a report on the first 4 days here at AKL then lost the connection, so I cant do it all again! Just to let you all know that AKL is magnificent and all our fears about it being closed were totally unfounded. We got upgraded to a Savannah view and construction noise is minimal to none existent!

First Choice were amazing, Boma brilliant, Rose & Crown superb, right on the front row of the balcony, and the only dissapointment so far has been Whispering Canyon, where we got seated right out the back, away from all the fun.

Yesterday was simply the best day of our lives, at Discovery Cove. We loved every single minute of it, and I would recommend that you take out a second mortgage if you have to, but do this experience. I have some great photos, which I will hopefully attach to my trip report when we get back. We finished the day off in Seaworld, doing Kraken & Jorney to Atlantis, before watching Shamu Rocks - what a day!!

Sorry this is a much curtailed report now, but the sun is shining & today is a much needed rest day, before going to Hoop De Doo tonight.

I will update you all again soon, but if anyone is booked in to AKL, you are in for an absolute treat, as this is truly paradise.

The inlaws are currently at AKL. If you see 2 very hyper blonde scottish kids with 4 adults then they aren't related to me

Agree with Discovery cove, something for everyone, DW loves the Dolphins, I prefer the lagoon and DS the Aviary, Now with it being All inclusive with food, drinks and snacks all day its the perfect day for just about eveyone.
Done it twice now, DS wants to go again but they are booked up for August thankfully or it would have cost me again.
