Hello From a S&D Bride to be

Just wanted to say hello properly on here
I've been over at another boards, and just pop in here ever so often. I've been "planning" our wedding for some years (and years) now, but officially since May last year when we got engaged

I'm planning on starting my planning journal here, so I hope you all enjoy it & are able to follow along.
I'd love to know any other October brides, both DFTW and Swalphins

Which Swan venue did you choose? Are you adding any WDW elements-dessert party, characters, welcome dinners, etc... Are you honeymooning in WDW as well?

I had a Swan wedding as well-truly a magical experience!!!

Hi! Congrats!!! I've been lurking a bit here, but hopefully by the end of this week I will OFFICIALLY be a S&D bride too! Just waiting to have our date of October 22, 2014 officially booked! These boards have been great in helping DF and to decide to go with the S&D and not DFTW! I look forward to read about your planning process

My fiancée and I just got engaged on Valentines Day and are hoping to get married this fall at Swan & Dolphin! We JUST started the planning process, gathering info and figuring out budget. I hope you are having a positive experience with the Just Marry team, I've only gotten very little info so far.
Hopefully it will all work out tho.

Congratulations!!! Im going to be a S&D bride in February 2015. We met with Rachel from just marry last weekend. We are waiting to here if the date we want is available. We also asked about Disney tickets and were told that we may possibly get discount tickets as well as our parking validated. It cost $15 a day to park there.

We're going for the beach, and having a dessert party to end the day and the ducks after cake/toasts.
We're there for 2 weeks altogether before touring Florida for the last week

wow! So glad, they have always been so good and it's come up a lot cheaper for us than DFTW, so I can't wait now.

Yay! Exciting. We'll be buying full 14 day tickets anyway, so it's all fab.
I started talking the day after we got engaged working out budget and things, and then at a year out (or so) we were able to book my date and pay deposit.

Sounds wonderful! Where are you having your dessert party? We did an Illuminations one at Epcot at the French Lower Terrace-dessert parties are so wonderful-you & your guests are going to love it!
