Hello fellow Disney lovers. Even though my screen name says that I have over 10 posts, I never really introduced myself to this forum.

I'm Kevin and yes, I am a Disney addict. I've been to Disney World over 20 times and have absolutely no intentions of stopping. When I go to Disney World, 98 percent of the time I stay at Port Orleans Riverside. I've stayed there so many times, Bob Jackson knows me by my full name. Anyway, I look forward to talking with you all in the future. Have a magical day!

Kevin is a fan of that "other podcast," with all its smoke and mirrors. He also thinks "that guy" has a bigger community than the DIS. I am trying to get him converted.

Kevin has written alot of good stuff about Riverside on his blog. He has also made YouTube videos of Riverside. The videos are posted over on the resorts board. He loves to talk about Riverside! Keep him talkin' and posting, so he loosens up and sees this as fun!

I've never stayed at Riverside but, have walked around there once or twice. We've stayed at POFQ a couple times and absolutely love that resort area along the river.

Welcome to the DIS!!!!!! I too am a HUGE fan of Bob at POR - DH and I stay there every year (wish we could go more) and see Bob as many times as we can during our trip. POR is my favorite resort - it's like home for DH and I.

Mostly because of the atmosphere and such. Everything at that resort seems so conveniently located. It doesn't feel like you're at an actual hotel. It really is Disney magic at its best.

As far as me liking the "Other guy", I see no problem with that. After all, in terms you and I would understand, back in the day, didn't you used to watch both Nitro and Raw? Just saying.

actually, I have always referred to Nitro and World Championship Wrestling as "the fake.stuff."

The problem that I have with the "other guy" is that he promotes Disney as flawlessly perfect. He i totally ignores anything bad that may come up. Disney is fantastic, but nobody is perfect.

We are also fans of Bob Jackson, though we certainly have not seen him as much as you have!

Hey- I am a huge fan of the "other guy" also- and I listen to both the DIS Unplugged and "that" podcast (as well as a few other Disney podcasts) faithfully each week.
The DIS Unplugged is my favorite though- and it's because of the camaraderie of the group and the folks here on the Boards. I used to be intimidated by the DIS, but not any more. Once we started participating in the traveling- we are getting to know more and more people each time.
It's like one big, happy family!

So- give the podcast a listen and try hanging out on the Boards a bit. We'll be happy to have you around!
