Hello everyone :)

I havent been to DisneyLand Paris in fair few years now (2007) being last time,Went with Friends.
To cut a long story Short im being made Redundant (next week, 22nd) And ive decided with my Redundancy money im going to take my Partner and 3 yr old son to DLP! Otherwise i know it will end up going...on rubbish:lmao:

So ive been having a little look around for prices, The best quote i got was £758 through Eurostar site, 3nights 4days at the Santa Fe, Tickets and Eurostar all included! WOuld you say this is a good deal? Will be for Oct 2011.

Ive looked through a brochure, and ive noticed that on every friday evening in Oct, they do a 'Mickey's not so scary Halloween party' with just states "exclusive night time festivties"
So people who have been around this time before i would love to know what the "festivities" are please? Any info would be great!
We were planning to go, Mon to a Thurs, But if its worth being there for the Fridays in Oct, i will go Thurs to a sun.

Thank you X :)

we were there last year, it was our first MNSSHP and we loved it! My trip report from it is here -

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2581590

Its a very late night (finishes well after 11.30pm) so we went Wednesday morning to Saturday noon (weekend dates generally are crazy busy at DLP, so I'd avoid them if you can).

We were planning to go, Mon to a Thurs, But if its worth being there for the Fridays in Oct, i will go Thurs to a sun.

Thank you X :)

Hi, Thank you! I just read your trip report, was fab! you both looked like you had a fab time.:)
I did notice when you went to the not so scary party, you had to dhow wristbands? Does the party come with extra cost then? or do you just use your normal park tickets for the day to get in for the party?
Where do you get the wristbands from? :) Sorry for all the questions! xx

There is an extra cost for the parties - not sure if the tickets are on sale yet. Those people who have got tickets are give a wrist band on the day to wear during the party and only people wearing these are allowed on the rides etc in the evening

Hello and congratulations on your up-coming trip!

We went for our first Halloween last year and had a great time. We didn't do MNNSHP though, as I didn't want to be there over a weekend - it can get incredibly busy.

I've heard it's a great night, but I prefer going mid-week and will hopefully be booking soon for Mon - Thurs visit to benefit from the quieter days.

I think the price sounds ok - compare it with disneylandparis.co.uk and see if it's cheaper there, or to book hotel with dlp and eurostar separately.

Tickets for the party are on sale now - I booked ours a couple of weeks ago!

I think we paid about that price for 3 nights/4days and flights for three so i'd say that was a good price.

AH okay, im glad i asked. I would of just assumed if you were there on a friday evening you could just turn up. :) Thank you Will look into getting the tickets x

Yes this is where im still unsure what to do, I was thinking from the beginning to do a Mon to Thurs, then i seen about the party on a friday night. I have heard it can get really packed at the weekend, and my main two days in the park would be a fri and sat. so will be looking at loads of queues i can imagine.
Just need to find out if a 3 yr olf would enjoy the party. knowing it goes on quite late. i can see my little one wanting to sleep after 9ish.

when i did look at Eurostar separately it was alot dearer than i thought, so i think i will be going with the deal i found x

Ah thats good, Yeah i think i will go for this deal. is the best i have found so far.

Where did you get your tickets from?! can they be purchased on the Disneydirect site? Can i ask how much you paid for them? x thank you x

halloween is our favourite time to go to dlp.

here is my trip report from last oct. just noticed it isn't finished lol.

the not so scary party is definitely worth it. last year i paid 25 euros per ticket. its great to meet so many characters without the usual scrums. get on all the rides without queues. there is good entertainment and the atmosphere is fab

Hi Thank ive just read your report! Your daughter looked like she was having a fab time.
I think i might try and get to the party? Did you stay till the end? my little boy is 3 too, not sure if he would cope with the long day and night....but im sure we can have a break in between. Thanks for the info x

we normally try to take a break on the day of the party.

it is on from 8 till 11. we have gone to two of these. each time my dd fell asleep just at the end. our first time was when she was 22 months. we had done the party and she had an absolute blast. it was coming up to 11 and she wanted to go on the carousel one last time. the party was our last time in the park as we were leaving early in the morning. she was up in my arms and said buh bye horses buh bye babas and fell asleep there and then lol. it is a bit tiring but definitely worth it.

i think i will have to start finishing my trip reports now lol :rotfl:

if you have any questions feel free to ask.

no there aren't big queues at all. its great to be able to do the rides and meet characters with tons of people around, especially if you are going for the weekend.

the character interaction is fab as well. they can take more time. in my report there was a day when ash wore her alice dress but we couldn't find her and she was so upset. then at the parade the mad hatter, queen of hearts and white rabbit ran over for a quick pic. he yelled out look its alice and she thought that he thought she really was alice.

well at the party i spotted the tip of a green hat and thought could it be and yes alice and the mad hatter were doing a meet and greet together. now this greet was packed and i wasn't sure if we would get to meet them as it was coming to the end of the party. well the mad hatter (same one as the other day) saw ashleigh and recognised her. then he dragged her out of the queue and was chatting away to her. then decided he wanted to meet mickey so brought her to the front of a queue of about 20 people and said has cutting the line and was next. thankfully nobody seem odd about it lol. so she got a pic with mad hatter and mickey together. then he brought her back to the alice meet and told alice all about ashleighs dress and was giving out to her for not meeting ashleigh lol. the cm told them they had to leave and i could see ash just about have a heart attack as she didn't get her picture yet. the hatter ran off with her and alice and made sure she got her picture before they left. it really made her whole night and she still talks about it now :rotfl:

Aww wow, so they really went out the way for her! Bless her....I bet she was loving it all!
also reconizing her aswell....thats just a special moment alone really! Shows they do pay attention all these children around!

Thats good to know about the queues then. Just will expect the queues for the day trippers on the sat though. I could Maybe try go Wednesday to a sat, so most of the days are week days.....will look into that :)

Hello :)

If you are looking to go on a weekend that is less busy go earlier in the month. The closer that it gets to the 31st the more people attend the MNSSHP's.

Fyi French school holidays start after class on Friday the 21st of October until the 2nd of November

I got the tickets with Disneyland Paris Direct which was who we booked the accomodation with. I paid £76 for three so about £25 each. I'm really looking forward to it - everyone always says how good it is at Halloween! We're going Wed 12th - Sat 15th. If you go for the 7th then you'll have to post the details of the party before i go on the 12th! :)
