Hello - Almost there, but a few questions

Hey everyone

Not been on here for AGES . I was banned because I was driving the family potty with my going on and on and on when we still had months to go, but seeing as we've only got 24 sleeps to go, I've decided I'm safe to come back

Anyone got any ideas as to how busy it's likely to be (4th-9th Jan)? Obviously it wont be as busy as when we last went in June, but just wondering if anyone who's been at that time of year can say if there was anything in particular that they had to queue for a long time for? What it was like at parade times etc? Would we have to find a spot long before the parade/fantillusion/candlabration start?

Also, I've still not bought my shares . How long does it normally take for it all to be done and dusted? Do you think 3 weeks (bearing in mind it's over christmas) is definitely pushing it?

Lastly, does anyone know if any of the rides are closed? I know there's a page somewhere on the DLP website, but I can't for the life of me find it.

I think you might be pushing it with the shares, as you have to wait for at least the letter of confirmation (the card itself takes a couple of months!) and you have Christmas post to contend with. I think in the past they have helped out by faxing the letter though, so it might be worth a phone call to the shareholder's club to see if it can be done?

You are going the same time as us and we are hoping that the parks won't be too horrendous. I am having a problem with my shares - I faxed the info off to DLP at the beginning of November but the payment hasn't been taken and the card has expired now. I need to ring them this week but I have both kids (who don't know we are going) off school, sick. I am hoping that they will fax the temporary details through as we will never get it in time now.

The resort hotels are fully booked from 4-6th so im expecting it to be rather busy.
