planning a return trip for February. Just priced out DLH ...ouch as much as it pains me this trip we will not be staying on site...with exchange it was over $500 a night. We are all sad but I cannot stomach that much, when we paid 1/2 that on previous visits.
Soooo.

I thought I had seen that there was a new hotel being built behind Mimi's by the HoJo? Am I dreaming or did this move ahead....we have not been since february 2014.

There are 3 in the area that I know of. The one mentioned above, a Homewood Suites and I can't remember the name of the other.

I would book an offsite hotel that has a good cancellation policy and keep checking for a deal onsite. We managed to get a great deal this February for the GCH for $229/night! And I booked via ebates so I got some more $ back on top of that.

Although...with the way our $ is going, but next February $229 US might = $500 CAD.

Thank you thank you. ..it was the mariott I was thinking of.
I will likely book there and keep my fingers crossed that I find a cheaper rate on site. .I have twice before but it always seem to largely coincidence or luck.
