Hi! I just booked our FIRST trip to WDW, after reading some great tips on these boards. I think we'll have an awesome trip including Star Wars weekend for two 6-year-old boys and a stay at the WL. I can't wait!

Congrats on heading for your first visit and staying at our favorite resort, Wilderness Lodge.....the lobby is going to knock your socks off.....after checking in, follow the spring out thru the back door down to the pool.....what more can I say.....another favorite are the endless milkshakes at Whispering Canyon.....and wander over to the villas, Iron Spike room, great Disney memorabilia, sitting rooms and board games.....pleasant place to enjoy......we've done over 10 stays here and just can't get enough of it.

Pop on over to Fort Wilderness, via the boat to Trail's End, restaurant, best buffet on property, cheapest too and they have take out chicken (same as the great chicken served at the Hoop Dee Do.....great place for the children to blow off some steam..

Welcome. Since this is your first trip and you only have a little over 2 months until your visit, have you made ADRs for any of your dining? I am only asking because if you don't have any it can difficult to get into some without them and I wouldn't want you to be disappointed because you didn't know.
