Hello all! Question about early May Travel...

Hey everyone, I've got a question about visiting DW in early May, May 6-17th to be exact. It's our 6th trip, and we usually go in November during the F&W festival. Once in late August; crowds were relatively low all those times. We wanted to take in the Flower and Garden festival this time with family that have never been. we picked it because it's after spring break and before Memorial day weekend. Crowd level charts look promising, but curious about anyone's experience's at this time. Thanks for any input!

I've found that time of year to be a great time to visit. I've had 5 family trips within those dates within the last 7 years (went in September twice for my birthday) and have had nothing but a fantastic time each year. You'll probably notice lowest crowds the first 5 or 6 days, then they will slowly build, but definitely should still be pretty moderate. I hope you have an awesome time!

Thanks!! We are very much looking forward to it! I appreciate the info; puts my mind at ease...mind you, we would have a super time crowds or no crowds, it's Disney after all. . Btw, we celebrated my Birthday in early September there as well a few years back; had a fantastic time!

beautiful time to go. crowds are reasonable. weather is starting to get really hot but still bearable. i've been the last few years in mid-may and i can usually even drag my mom to epcot on mother's day (they usually give the moms a flower at the entrance). and i love that they've added the food stands to the flower and garden festival now.

but let's keep this quiet so it doesn't start to get crowded then as well...

Thanks for sharing! Very excited to know we picked a good time! Also thanks for the flower tip,we'll be in Epcot for mothers day then heading over to BOG for dinner(not sure how we managed to get that ressie! )
