It looks like most rides at the DLR that have minimum height requirements have them set at a 40 inch minimum ... with the exceptions of:

Grizzly River Run at 42 inches
Mulholland Madness at 42 inches
Indiana Jones at 46 inches
California Screaming at 48 inches
Maliboomer at 52 inches

Am I missing any? My DD is 41 inches, so I want to make sure I know which rides not to promote. :)

She can't drive the Autopia car by herself (wouldn't be able to reach the pedal anyways). Nothing more fun than driving with a preschooler at the wheel around that course! I believe I had to similarly ride with my son on the Tuck and Roll Buggies (like bumper cars) in DCA.

I can't think of any other than that; mostly it will be her courage that will determine what she'll willingly ride. FYI, at 41 inches, she will be measured often by CMs at ride entrances. Remind her to stand up really tall for that. Don't forget about parent swap (or single-rider) for the rides she's not old enough to ride if you want to try it.

We got our 41-inch DS 4.5 on everything he was eligible to ride in October. He told us it was scary during/after the ride, but kept letting us take him on the next ride. I think he rode eveything "scary" twice except Tower of Terror (once was enough for everyone).

DD hates getting wet, so I won't push her onto some of the height eligible rides, but Star Tours is a must!

Not what you think of as rides, but the Smokejumpers "tire swing" type ride, and the wall climbing (you climb sideways, on a ledge, not up a wall), both in the Redwood area, have a 42" minimum as well.

The wall climb CM let DS in when he was about 41.5", but they were NOT supposed to (and if I'd been the parent with DS I wouldn't have let him).

Since going into the Redwood area was the alternative to the extreme disappointment over Grizzly, yeah...there was some MORE extreme disappointment with the Smoke Jumpers thing.

Thanks for posting this!

Last time at 3 DS was too short at 43 inches for a lot, he's 50 (I think!) now....I think we can do some big rides! :thumbsup2 It's so exciting when they get big enough! Of course DD, is 11 & bigger than me so she's a LOT pricier than she was....double edged sword here.
