I have a son who will be pretty close on some rides.

So... the height measuring things... do they start off an inch off the ground for a shoe allowance?

Let me know if my question is confusing!

We've been measuring my son at home and I'm just now realizing that he'll actually be a tad taller due to his sneakers.

They measure including shoes, so pick your son's shoes with the highest heel on them and make sure to have him stand up tall and straight!

Wow Danger Mpuse! Thanks so much! I think it took me longer to figure out how to phrase my question than it took you to answer!

I'm not looking to fool the system or anything - I just want a realistic idea of what he can and can't ride. My middle son won't have much of a chance as he's only 37 inches without shoes (and only has 4 months to grow on). But my oldest is currently 44 inches without shoes so he just might make the 46 inches that Indy requires. I'll have to remind him to eat his vegetables. ;)

Or put him in rain boots with rolled up socks in the heels just for the measuring part!
