Height requirements - with shoes or without shoes?

Perhaps he will want to try sleeping like a bat (hanging upside down) the night before????? :rotfl2:

Good luck and have fun! For us, it took well past the minimum height requirement to get our kids to finally try the big rides. It's so fun to finally walk on those rides as a complete family!

Yes, definitely. We're at that tender age (5) where we will totally leave it up to him as to whether or not he wants to ride. We've been checking out some youtube videos, and he's OK with mission space/green, but Expedition Everest has him spooked. We are not pushing him on anything. We'll be going back too many times to scar him now...! I can definitely see/understand how people could well-intentionedly "push" a child to ride too soon when they won't be going back for several years...

Thanks for all the tips everyone. We measured him yesterday, and he must have been subconsciously trying to grow because he's now a conservative 45" with regular sneakers on. So, fingers crossed, we should be good!

Yes, look at Eeyore's Pal post (#18). DD4 is right on the edge of 44". I measured her yesterday first thing in the morning and she was well above without a doubt.

Then, I measured her again in the afternoon, with the same shoes and she was shorter!! (I did this because I've read about this before here).

So, the morning tip might prove useful.
