Do they measure a child at every ride that they might be borderline at? If so, is there a way to figure this out before waiting in line? Or do they have something at the gate where kids can get measured once? My son is 42" with shoes on. I want to make sure that he can go on rides before we wait for them. Just because I measure him at 42", doesn't mean they will. (I'm not about to use different shoes or argue it if he's measured shorter).

I will need to know the answer too!

Is 42" the standard for each ride? Or is it 40"

there are three checkpoints:

1. before you enter the parks, there are places to measure for each ride/attraction.

2. entrance to the queue, measured by TM's

3. before you board, a TM can remeasure.

Thanks Amity!
scraptoons - I don't remember all the rides, but in the Disney parks it's 40" while I remember US/IOI having some 42" rides. I do remember that Spiderman is 40" though. We started out our last trip with our barely 3 year old on that ride.

36" for P-flyers, Flying Unicorn and Woody's Coaster
40" for Spider-Man, BTTF, and Jimmy Neutron
42" for Popeye & Bluto's and Jurassic Park River Adventure
44" for Ripsaw Falls
48" for ROTM
52" for Doctor Doom's Fearfall
54" for Hulk and Dueling Dragons
