Ok so my 4.5 year old son is 41.5 inches with shoes on. I highly doubt he will grow another half inch by May. How strict is US/IOA? My son is really wanting to do the Mummy ride but I keep telling him most likely that he will not be able to go on. I know height requirements are for safety reasons but I'm just curious how strict they are. Thanks!!

My nephews were often checked as they entered the queue and before boarding!

Universal's park in Spain - Port Aventura - were very strict with DD last year. She was only a tiny fraction below their measuring stick and they would not let her ride a kids rollercoaster. :sad2:

You can always buy shoes with extra-thick soles! :rotfl:

We cheated, our DD was 38.5", and were due at WDW, so we bought Skechers as they soles are chunky. This bulked her up to 40".
