Height requirement for the Mummy

We went to Disney this past June and my kids, age 8, and 5 were able to ride Expedition Everest. We will be at US/IOA this April. Does anyone know the height requirement for Mummy? Is it similar to EE? Thanks for the help

Iirc EE is 44" and The Mummy is 48". At age 8 probably will meet the req but I doubt the 5 will unless he/she is tall for age.

My 10 year-old daughter measures 54.5 inches here at home in stocking feet. Anyone ever have any problems with measuring right at 54 at home and not being tall enough at the parks? She'll be SO bummed if she doesn't get to ride the hulk. I think I've read on the Disney side how people thought the park markers are a bit off.

Go ahead and try it cause I thought I wouldn't like the hulk and FIL talked me into it and loved it.
DW and both DS's said they would never ride the hulk and they rode it last year and now they love it

Here is my attitude about rides in general...

Try everything once... if you dont like it, it's over in under 2 minutes and I can pretty much stand anything for 2 minutes

It is not the 2 minutes that bother me. It is feeling queasy the rest of the day. I can do EE and RnRC once, but more than that and I start to feel nauseous. I did DD three years ago and it really did a number on me. I made the huge mistake of closing my eyes and it totally threw my balance out of whack for the day. I thought I'd try the hulk this time and make sure to keep my eyes open.

I look up and get dizzy, so I can get thrown off quite easily, There are parts of the Simpsons that I have to look down for, and the fast moving buildings scene in Spiderman makes me swirl, Lots of Jimmy newtron (so I watch my kids faces), and don't get me started on Cat In The Hat lol but by gosh I am going to ride EVERYTHING at least once, no matter how ill I get!

and thankfully by now I am so familiar with the rides I know how/what I need to do to survive


And IMO

Spiderman is worth getting ill for at least once. (RocknRoller Coaster Too)

The mummy ride is alot more intense than EE for young children. It has fire, crawling bugs, and is dark in some places. My younger son rode once, and has been scared to ride again. He loves EE, and will ride it multiple times in a row. He loves the ride part of the mummy, but the other parts freak him out a little.
