Height minimum for Kali River Rapids?

Hi. I've heard two conflicting heights for this ride. Anyone know the correct height requirement? My almost 3 yo son is very tall (40"), and I'm curious if he would be able to go on this. Also, has anyone brought a child this young on this ride? He loves to get wet, and I think he'd love it, but not sure if it's too intense.

Your son will be able to go. They DO measure, but what they do is if your some is less than the required height, they will put a wristband on him and the CM's that load people onto the boat will make sure he gets a special seat for kids under a certain height (with a special restraint.) My DS had to do that on his first trip when he was two months shy of 3.

My DS loved it. But the screaming middle school aged girls almost ruined it for us. . . he was loving it until they were screaming for no reason and then he got scared because he didn't understand what they were screaming about. But we did it again later with no screaming tweens and he had a ball.

You have to be at least 38" to ride and anyone under 42" will get a wristband indicating they need a particular seat. Each boat has one seat with an additional bar for a shorter child. Worst case is you have to wait for an extra boat to have the seat for the child between 38 and 42".
