Is there a height limit on the pool slide at BWV. If so does anyone know what it is?

I have never heard of a height limit on any of the slides at Disney.

I don't think there is one. (might be one on the kiddies slide at SALB)

I don't think there's a height limit, only that the person needs to be able to swim away at the end of the slide.

And don't forget you can borrow a life vest for your length of stay from the community center. . . my DD6 can swim but she was so excited on that slide and everytime she came down she was laughing so hard she couldn't swim - so she got a vest and it worked perfectly!

The lifeguards will not allow you to go down the slide with a child on your lap - anyone who uses the slide must do so on his/her own.

Best wishes -

..all good advice. The vests really do work well. I'll add that you can wait off to the side, out of the way entirely, for your little one and do a good quick grab. I think our youngest was 2 when he first tried it.

The biggest concern,IMO, with the slide is will your child be able to sit up and keep his/her head out of the water while sliding down. The turns are pretty strong at the end. I suggest riding it yourself first to determine if you are comfortable w/your child doing it.

we were just down there the last week of may and saw all shapes and sizes come down the slide, including some very young and small children. When my son was 6 we walked over to the club house (near quiet pool ) and got a life vest for him just to feel better.

When we were there, that was the "Dad zone." Four or five of us dads lingering at the end of the slide chewing the fat while the kids kept doing laps on the slide. :)

My 3 year old flies down the slide and she is a little. I just stay at the bottom of the slide and grab her as she hits the pool. But we do bring the arm band swimmies for her. My 6 year old goes down and has no problem except when she gets tired from running up and down the stair.....at this point the current sweeps her away from the ladder........Thats the only scary thing about this slide is the current at the end.....kids have to know how to swim even though there is a life guard stationed right there.
