Day 4 didn't start so well.

We had booked a 10:30 session at the Davy Crockett Adventure, so we got up at about 9ish, planning to take the morning fairly easily. Unfortunately, we'd forgotten that you had to be there for 10, so by the time we realised this, it was too late to go.

We decided that it wasn't worth re-arranging for the next day, as it would mean that we wouldn't get very long in the parks on what would be our last day, so we decided to miss it altogether.

We therefore decided that we would take advantage of our new found free time, so we headed for a swim in the DCR pool instead. The pool was as nice as ever, although it was also as cold as ever, so we quickly found the Jacuzzi and spent a good amount of time in there.

After our swim, we dropped everything back at the cabin and headed for the parks. We started by heading for the studios for a short while.

we had a quick walk around the park and I took the opportunity to visit Stitch Live, then headed over toward Cars.

We then went off to take a ride on cars, after which we decided to brave Crush's, which didn't prove too popular with everybody...

After the ordeal of Crush's we headed back out of the park. On the way out, we came across the Toon Train, but it was just leaving, so we didn't really get time for any autographs.

When we arrived in the Disneyland Park, it happened to be time for the Character Express, so we headed up to the top of main street.

We spent much of the remainder of the afternoon touring the lands. we took in a couple of the more gentle rides such as Phantom Manor and Pirates, but we also spent a lot of time touring Boot Hill, Adventure Isles and the Tree house, all of which are places we don't often spend much time in, so it made a welcome change, especially in the heat.

We eventually returned back to main street and our usual spot to watch the OUAD parade. After the parade, we headed to the Disneyland Hotel for our meal in the California Grill. We had a fantastic meal here and it was wonderful to simply sit and watch the sun set over Main Street on our last night - I'll post more about it in the review thread if I ever get to the end of the main TR...

After our meal, we had a look around the DLH, then headed back to the park again.

We took our evening ride on Buzz, then took our place for our final night of Fantillusions. We chose to watch this from our old favourite place of on the corner outside the Discovery Arcade near the parade exit gates, which proved to be the best spot of the week for Fantillusions because it was quieter than the disabled spots.

After Fantillusions, we headed back up through the Discovery arcade and watched the fireworks for the last time. This wasn't the best spot we'd had, but we still managed to enjoy them, which made for a fantastic ending to our last night.

Another really busy day.
I assume thats your Mum in some of the photos you really look alike

Fabulous! Lovely pictures as well, thanks Rob.

About time!! Shame about the scrum for the characters........

You do know I will have to take drastic action if you don't get a review of the California Grill up soon, don't you?

I reckon it'll be up in about 15 days ;)

That's the view we had from the California Grill - unfortunately, we were staying in the DCR on this trip ;)

It looks a brilliant view. Did you ask for a window table or were you just lucky to get one?

When I'm away?!?!!?!!! Thats just mean!

Bob xoxox

And not at all planned ;) We actually have some food pictures from California Grill too :)

We were actually 1 table in from the windows, but it was quiet enough that we could still stare out of the window. We were lucky both here and in Walts, as we were given near enough window seats at both. And in inventions too for that matter, so we did really well :goodvibes

Come on Rob you cant deprive poor Bob like that :rotfl:

I'll think about it then... I'm just starting to write day 5 now, so hopefully as I've no coursework to do, I should get that finished tonight, or maybe tomorrow at the latest.

Then, I just need to decide what order to write my reviews in.

I promise I'll start writing the CG review as soon as I've written day 5. I've just started day 5 and am hoping to get that done, so there might be a CG review there by the time you get up.

If not, then it will almost definitely be there tomorrow night :goodvibes

I've just realised that I forgot to document our journey on Crush's. For those people who've read everything else, the new text has been inserted just after I saw Stitch Live and reads:

We then went off to take a ride on cars, after which DB decided that he would brave Crush's. This was a god-send to DSD and myself, as it meant that we were able to use DB's disabled pass to skip the queue. So, a short walk down a very bland secret corridor and we arrived at the loading platform for crush's. We took our seats and headed off into the deep blue. Everything was going ok until we started climbing the lift, then as we dropped off the top, DB promptly started screaming and didn't stop until we reached the end, as did DM. DB actually seemed to enjoy Zeus more the previous day and decided that he was not going to be riding Crush's again any time soon, but it did at least mean that DSD and I got to have one go during the holiday.

Another great day Rob, lovely photos:thumbsup2
