Day 4 didn't start so well.
We had booked a 10:30 session at the Davy Crockett Adventure, so we got up at about 9ish, planning to take the morning fairly easily. Unfortunately, we'd forgotten that you had to be there for 10, so by the time we realised this, it was too late to go.
We decided that it wasn't worth re-arranging for the next day, as it would mean that we wouldn't get very long in the parks on what would be our last day, so we decided to miss it altogether.
We therefore decided that we would take advantage of our new found free time, so we headed for a swim in the DCR pool instead. The pool was as nice as ever, although it was also as cold as ever, so we quickly found the Jacuzzi and spent a good amount of time in there.
After our swim, we dropped everything back at the cabin and headed for the parks. We started by heading for the studios for a short while.
we had a quick walk around the park and I took the opportunity to visit Stitch Live, then headed over toward Cars.
We then went off to take a ride on cars, after which we decided to brave Crush's, which didn't prove too popular with everybody...
After the ordeal of Crush's we headed back out of the park. On the way out, we came across the Toon Train, but it was just leaving, so we didn't really get time for any autographs.
When we arrived in the Disneyland Park, it happened to be time for the Character Express, so we headed up to the top of main street.
We spent much of the remainder of the afternoon touring the lands. we took in a couple of the more gentle rides such as Phantom Manor and Pirates, but we also spent a lot of time touring Boot Hill, Adventure Isles and the Tree house, all of which are places we don't often spend much time in, so it made a welcome change, especially in the heat.
We eventually returned back to main street and our usual spot to watch the OUAD parade. After the parade, we headed to the Disneyland Hotel for our meal in the California Grill. We had a fantastic meal here and it was wonderful to simply sit and watch the sun set over Main Street on our last night - I'll post more about it in the review thread if I ever get to the end of the main TR...
After our meal, we had a look around the DLH, then headed back to the park again.
We took our evening ride on Buzz, then took our place for our final night of Fantillusions. We chose to watch this from our old favourite place of on the corner outside the Discovery Arcade near the parade exit gates, which proved to be the best spot of the week for Fantillusions because it was quieter than the disabled spots.
After Fantillusions, we headed back up through the Discovery arcade and watched the fireworks for the last time. This wasn't the best spot we'd had, but we still managed to enjoy them, which made for a fantastic ending to our last night.
