Hee, hee, hee ... just booked a surprise trip

The grandkids have been bugging their "Pepaw" to go to Disney with them ... but he's been saying "no" for several reasons. Well, they've got a four day weekend in late January due to teacher workdays ... sooooo

I suggested that we take them to Disney that weekend ... after a bit of whining ... flying is so dangerous, I hate taking off and landing ... hmmm can you tell he hates to fly ... it costs too much and so forth he finally agreed to go.

I made reservations tonight ... YAY!!! We aren't going to tell the munchkins that we're going until the morning we leave. We'll just wake them at the crack of dawn and say "Rise and Shine — we're flying to Disney!"

I can hardly wait ... keeping it a secret is going to be SOOO HARD, LOL!

Sound like fun! I was going to keep my upcoming trip a secret and not tell my dd that we were going on a mother/daughter trip. I had planned to not tell her till I picked her up from school, instead I told her about 5 days after I booked it, 4 months before the trip. LOL

I'm sure that will be me too DeDixie. I would love to do a surprise trip for DH or DS but I know I would spill the beans...it's just too much Magic for 1 little heart to hold!

Yep ... am having a terrible time keeping the excitement to myself ... I haven't even told my daughter that I'm taking her kids (all 3 live with me).

DD's going to be upset that's she's not coming, but she has a mandatory bus drivers' meeting one of those days, plus this is an grandparent-grandchild only trip, LOL! And she can't complain too much ... we went for a week in August the past two summers and are going on a land/sea cruise next summer.

Now I need to decide what PS ressies I want ...
