I don't know if this is the right area to put this post. My family and I are going to Disney World in October and my Brother is 6' feet tall size 4x shirt with all his weight is in his gut. Any chance he will be able to ride the rides? any Info would be helpful.

My family went 4 years ago and I'm 6' 2" and was also wearing 4x shirts. (for those that care, I'm still 6' 2" but I wear 2xl now and I'm working on getting down to a simple xl before our trip in November).

I was never turned away from any ride that I chose to ride. However, I did not go with my family on Space Mountain because I didn't want to squeeze into the cars and then have to wiggle my way back out after. I have a bad back and getting down into those little cars is not very easy.

Most of the rides (if I remember correctly) have simple lap belts. I know some of them have the bar that folds towards you but I "fit" in those. It was funny to ride with kids when you shared a bar because it held me down just fine, but it did nothing for the kid because my belly wouldn't allow it to close on them. I held on to them pretty tight, but they still had the lap belts.

:thanks: for the info.

he should be ok, the only ride he will probably have trouble with is space mountain. I am heavy and always have trouble fitting in. it is so uncomfortable!

Would he have to be a single rider on Splash Mountain, 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and
Everest.

I don't think so. Although, I've never ridden the mine train (I'm assuming it is new in the last 4 years). I've ridden Splash Mountain and Everest with passengers. Luckily, I have three kids so there's always someone smaller to ride with me without making it too cramped. I think my wife and I rode Everest together and she's not a small lady. (don't tell her I said that)

My Boyfriend is 6'5 and he wears 3X and I'm also a large woman and we both fit in the splash mountain ride together. It really depends on his flexibility of being able to get in and out of the ride there. It has a roll bar that drops down and i've had no problems with it. I have a harder time fitting in rides than he does. I have a hard time with 7 Dwarfs because of the bar on that one, it is per person in the seat and goes through the thighs and sadly mine are not small so while I can ride the ride it presses in on my legs and makes it very uncomfortable for the ride. The best tip I can give is with lap bets extend it out all the way first so that you can easily snap it in the buckle and then it will tighten up once you let go to the way you need it. I have not been on Everest but BF has and he rode it just fine with someone else in the same car also.

I'm 6'2" and 320 pounds, 3XL and working on getting smaller. The only ride I had problems on was 7DMT. It was a little cramped, but I was able to ride it, and was sitting next to my wife.

IMHO, I think he should be ok.
