Heavy questions for you experts... re: 05/05/05

I was there during the press event for Walt's 100th birthday, it wasn't a big deal. They did close MGM early one day, 3:00 or 4:00. I don't think people will make a special trip to be there for that particular day, it's more for the invited media people. Disney probably will not even advertise that date to the public, they don't want big crowds when they are entertaining the media people. It's not like the new show will only be held that day. I wouldn't worry about it.

Since there is suppose to be so much going on at EACH park, no one knows what is in store for us yet. EPCOT will open Soarin', MGM will open the Stunt Show, and can't remember what the other parks are up to yet. I believe there is some info in the Disney magazine I received this week. Also some info in the Disney Insider too. I've posted on a few of the 05/05/05 sites and just keep repeating myself that early resort reservations will be a must for anyone going during the weekend of the 5th. Hopefully there will be a few AP previews or CM previews for us to take advantage of since we arrived on April 30. I do believe the activities and crowds will die down after that initial weekend. But lets not forget that the Flower and Garden festivalities at EPCOT will also be in full bloom! Oh and lets not forget Grad Nites on Fridays and Saturdays (late April/early May weekends). I can't wait because it sounds like alot of new stuff to do and see and can't wait to be a part of it. It will make planning a little more difficult than usual. But with these boards to assist us, I'm sure we'll do OK.
