I started a journal over a year ago before I really started on a plan and my journal as well as my plan lasted about two weeks.:sad2: This time however I have been working my plan since January 3rd and I have lost 24 lbs!:banana: I can't blieve that I am actually doing this and that it is really working! Hopefully I will keep up with this journal also!

The Plan:
Together with 3 other women in my office we began an unofficial WW group using materials that the other 3 women had. Basicly they tutored me. We began on Jan 3rd. Two weeks later our whole school where I work started a Biggest Looser Contest which we all 4 joined. So, I not only weigh in every week but my other three friends keep me on track. The 4 of us have a weekly contest where we each put a dollar in the pot. Who ever looses the most by percentage each week then buys something to inspire everyone for the next week. I know it sounds a little different but it really works and is a lot of fun. We are doing the other Biggest Looser contest for 12 weeks and I don't know what week we are in right now. Who ever looses the most will win about 100 dollars. I did not join for the money but I wouldn't mind!:cool1:

So far I have lost 10% of my body weight! I am loosing and exercising which is really the biggest achievement for me! I have been on a plateau for the last week and I am hoping to get re-motivated. I am glad to be back here on the boards!:yay:
 
Today was a productive day for me in regards to scrapbooking for my son's graduation album but not as far as exercise. I woke up this morning and my muscles in my left leg were really stiff so I had to skip my walking workout.:sad2: I actually was disappointed because the reason I am feeling so much better is because I am walking. When I can't because of my muscles it worries me. Oh well, I bet I will be better tomorrow!:thumbsup2

I did well in the food department. I do not count the points like I use to beacuse I have a system that is working well for me. I eat a slimfast ultima
bar in the am(4 points) , salad or subway sandwich for lunch (6-8 points) and then I have the rest of my points for dinner. I am trying to eat veggies in between meals to keep my metabolisim going because I have been on a plateau for a couple of weeks. I hope it helps!
