Hi,

My name is Heather and I am new here. I have been trying to eat better since Jan 9. I am 35 and 5'2" I weigh right now 130. I am trying to get down to about 120 or 125. I started at 135.5. There are three of us at work who have been trying to lose weight and eat better. I have been doing Dance Revolution for an hour everynight. I do not like to exercise, so this is fun for me. I am in a slump right now and I have not lost any weight in the last 2 weeks, so I am a little discouraged. I started out with the South Beach Diet and pretty much try to stick to that. I thought maybe this would give me even more motivation having other people to talk to about this. My coworkers are good, but they cheat often and keep losing and I don't cheat often and I am not losing.

For breakfast I had
2 pc of Whole Grain Raisin Toast

Lunch
Whole grain pasta
sugar free pudding

snack

triscits

dinner

salad with chicken/salsa a little ranch dressing

snack
sugar free jello
 
Happy Valentines Day all. I had a good start to the day. Then my husband called and said that he got a babysitter and that we were going out to dinner. So much for a eating good. Although I didn't do too bad. But I have yet to get the exercise in. I am going to try to get that in soon. The DH is watching tv right now and I need that to get in my workout. So hope everyone had a good day.

Breakfast
2 slices whole wheat raisin toast

lunch
whole wheat pasta w/ricotta cheese and sauce

Dinner
Chicken Marsala with zucchini, Yellow squash and yes I had some mashed potatos.

NO workout yet, but I hope to get that in soon.
 
So today I did good. I am getting ready to do my workout. I will workout for 60min.

I haven't posted in a few days, went away for the weekend and did really bad. I ate alot of things I wasn't supposed too. Although I lost a pound at my weigh in on Friday. So that was good, but I think I gained it back this weekend. Yesterday I did good.

I love Dance Revolution, but I haven't played it in so long! I should get that out also. It is a good workout w/out feeling like work! DH and I used to take turns playing and the other would do our little stair stepper we have.

You sound like you are doing good on your foods. I would caution though that it seems kind of repetitive and you may burn out on some of the foods quickly. I do anyway. Maybe adding some variety will help you to start losing again too? :confused3

Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged that the weight is coming off slowly. It will happen and slow is better in the long run. :sunny:
