Are the pools at kidani or blt heated?? We will be there March 1st-4th and trying to decide if need to pack bathing suits. Thanks!

If the pool is warm enough, you were planning on skinny dipping???:lmao:

Last year at KV I felt that the pool was cold but this year at Vero they were much warmer

We went to VWL in January once & Kidani at the end of March once. Neither time did we feel that the water was warm enough and we ended up staying in the hot tubs. They may claim 82 degrees but I have serious doubts if it's REALLY that warm or not.:confused3 Definitely bring bathing suits as you can always hope it's warm enough or there's always the hot tub!

That is so true! I did the same thing in January and I was freezing. I expected to be cold but I thought I would be ok while in the pool. That was not the case. :rotfl:

:rotfl:Too funny!! Skinny dipping isn't my thing, however my 20 month old will probably give it a try!

Swim diapers required. Been more than one time the pool is closed for accidents.:scared1::eek::headache:

In our experience the pool water is not kept at 82. I understand sun, wind, size of pool, air temp, etc can all impact the ability to heat the water. But we've been in pools where I don't think have been heated at all - water felt 72, not 82.

Wasn't there some "green policy" instituted a few years ago where they said they were bringing down the standard heating temp?

You are certainly not going to run into cold weather. Warm Days (about 80) and cool nights are in your forecast. If the pool is in the sun, it should be comfortable. A weak cold front will be pushing through Saturday or Sunday (expect some rain), but shouldn't drop temps more than 5 degrees.

Was just at VWL and the pool water was warm enough for the girls to swim. Even I went in for a little bit. One day it was overcast so it was a little chilly coming out but the next day was pure sun and nice.

I think swimming is certainly an option!! Have fun!!!
