I would just like to know just how much heat and humidity I can expect the second half of May (21 - 31). I am from eastern PA, so I have experienced it and have learned to just HATE it!! :teeth: I just would like to know how to prepare, since I really can't tolerate too much humidity especially.

Also, how often does in rain in late May? I know at some times of the year you can expect rain everyday.

:thanks:

You do the same as you do home when it's hot and humid.

Hello - Lansdale/Hatfield native here - now living in Orlando! Hot and humid in May - yes - rain - normally not so much.

Dress lightly, drink lots of water, and take breaks often if the heat and humidity bother you. Plan the attractions so you are hitting the indoor AC ones during the hottest part of the day!!!

May in FL is no worse than July in PA, at least in my opinion. I'd rather spend a hot humid day in Disney than in Lansdale anyday!

Depending on your "touring" style - get up early do the parks until late morning/early afternoon, take a break and head back out for the evening.
During the summer months, we rarely go to the parks until evening! I love the parks at night!!!!

Thanks! From a former "neighbor"! So basically, I am just speeding up the summer process...LOL At least I have something to relate it to now. Thanks for the help! :thumbsup2 :sunny:

July in PA is a good comparison :thumbsup2

We were there last May 15-21 and it was hot and humid but nothing you haven't had at home. The sun seems a lot stronger so make sure you use more sunscreen than you normally would.

The best part was that we didn't see one drop of rain until we landed back in Philly.
