Heat, Headaches but So Much Fun! My June Birthday TR (Trip Wrap-Up 10/12)

It's so hard to say goodbye. Riding Soarin' was a great way to end your trip. And I love the idea of Strawberry Shortcake for breakfast.

I know you were sad to leave, and I'm sorry everything didn't go perfectly your last morning -- but you didn't let it get you down! You kept going and still managed to have the best time you could!

I'm so sorry you were sick on your last day. What a bummer! I would love to hear about the rest of your trip.

I have a question about the book set Madison got - are the books like picture books? Is it meant for kids? I think DS would love something like that.

They are thin paperback books, but not picture books. There are plenty of pictures, but it's pretty wordy. Lots of big words and descriptions, but that is right up Madison's alley. I'll try to take a picture of them when I can.

I thought it was plenty exciting!
It's great that you got that perfect seat on Soarin'! I always get up at the top or over to the side which takes away some of the Illusion.

I think the TT photo is the only one I've seen where Madison doesn't have a huge grin on her face.

I still can't believe I sat in the exact center seat on Soarin'. It's my favorite ride so it was just perfect. Maddie loves TT, but where they take your pic is a bit scary!!!

Soarin' was the perfect ending to our trip. I could eat Strawberry Shortcake for every single meal. It's so good (especially at Disney).

If I had been feeling like myself that morning, I probably would have been very upset by the whole bus thing. But, since I wasn't feeling well and I knew it was our last morning there, I just let it go.


*I will post about the rest of our trip. In case you didn't already know, we drove up to see my DH's family who live about 45 minutes outside of Tallahassee. We arrived there Sunday night and then drove to Jacksonville Tuesday morning. So, the rest of the trip is not Disney-related, but still fun. I didn't really take any pics (sorry!) because I still wasn't feeling well. *

Even though I felt awful most of the time, I was still at Disney with my awesome family having tons of fun. That's all that matters.

(you'll have to read my TR when I update about all of that) How sad that your TR is coming to an end. But at least you know that there will be other trips to look forward to in your future!!

Oh nooo!!! I can't believe you had to wait in that horrible line (the wait for TT is the worst IMO- that music is soo annoying! LOL) and then couldn't go on the ride! Glad you had one last magical moment on Soarin before leaving though
PS- I looooove the picture of Madison talking to Mulan- it is too cute!!

I'm very sad that my TR is coming to a close. It's been so much fun! There will be many more Disney trips in the future for sure.

That was a great breakfast for the last day! I sure did need some magic at that moment and I got some. It was the best Soarin' ride ever!

TT music is VERY annoying! Waiting in that line was agony. I had to keep sitting on the railing (the lower one, not the upper one where you get yelled at) to rest. I was exhausted, my feet were killing me and I felt so yucky. The music made it 100 times worse!

I was very surprised that the TT CM's didn't seem to have it all together that day. That line was enormous and it's all because they were sending through half empty cars. Soarin' was fantastic!

Thanks! The cupcake was very delicious, but a bit too sweet at 8am! It did stink that I wasn't feeling well, but we all had a great time.

It was THE best spot to sit on Soarin'! I felt like I had won the lottery or something! I will post the rest of my trip. I just wish I had some pics!

Thank goodness, that has to be the worst feeling!!!! I know exactly how you feel about riding Soarin' for the last time before you leave, we did that, too and I filled up with tears too when you fly over MK and see the fireworks....sniff....

I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of your trip!! Oh! And btw, do you have the name of the book set you got Maddie? My boys would love that!! Wish I had seen that last week when I was there!! Thanks.....would be a great gift from Santa this year!!!

Soarin' is my favorite ride. It's just so neat! The books are just Walt Disney World Souvenir Books (that's all it says on the spine of the books). I will try to take a picture and post it soon!

I'll try my best to drag out this TR. I hope to post again either today or tomorrow. It was a crazy busy weekend for us! I'd love to go again next year, but not for my birthday or Tony's birthday. June and July are WAY too hot for me. But, Madison's is the middle of October and that would be wonderful.
