I don't blame you at all!!!!
2 years ago, my sister, a friend of ours, and I went to California and DL for the first time. We did the whole Hollywood thing, etc.
About halfway through the trip, we're walking back to our room from the car, along the hotel next to room windows and my sister drops her digital camera. The batteries pop out. We find them, put them back in, she's PO'd that it's now scratched. I tell her as long as it's not broken, be happy.
The next day we go to Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast. At one point, I'm using her camera to take her picture with one of the characters and ask her "How come it says No Memory Card on here?" She says I don't know, I guess it always says that. (Can you see where this is going?)
After that, we go into Hollywood, Walk of Fame, etc. We're taking pictures and doing our thing. After a while, she wants to go back and look at one of her pictures to make sure it came out and when she tries, she screams! Her memory card is gone! So we realize it must've fallen out the night before. She is SO UPSET. She tells us to keep doing what we're doing and don't mind her. After a while, I KNOW she really wants to go back and see if we can find it, maybe under a car or something. She is not very hopeful, but can't rest until we do. So we say ok, and head back.
We go to the place where it was dropped and look around and can't find anything. SHe's heartbroken and pretty upset and we're trying to console her by saying we have our other 2 cameras (though not digitals). She's so upset.
We turn to walk to our room and she sees something on the window ledge outside one of the rooms. She picks it up and screams. It's her memory card!!!! We can't believe that someone found it and put it on a window ledge instead of taking it (this was not at a DL hotel, but an offsite). I have never seen someone so happy in my life.
