Heart Ailment/what rides to skip?

My brother has a heart ailment (heart failure) and is terminally ill, he is receiving his Dream of going to Disneyland from the Dream Foundation!!! Here is my question, what rides should we skip, I'm sure to skip Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad, but what about Indiana Jones Adventure? Would that be to wild for him? HELP!!

Sorry to hear about your brother and I hope you guys have a great time! I would say that Big Thunder Mountain is okay...so is Matterhorn. Indiana Jones shouldn't bother someone with heart problems....maybe back problems, though. I think the warnings that Disney puts on a lot of their rides about heart problems, back problems and pregnancy are just the standard legal mumbo jumbo that the lawyers make them put in. Most of the time a little common sense will probably do the trick.

Hi there! I don't know just how bad your brother's heart ailment is ('though terminal is pretty bad), but I would definately skip the traditional coasters/flume rides. I have a prolapsed valve, which can cause an irregular heartbeat and sometime makes it hard to breathe. Most times when I ride Indy I have no problems, but there have been three occasions when it's tripped off a problem (nothing serious). You might ask him (or even his cardiologist) about a very bumpy motion simluator. Hope this helps!

Sorry to hear about your heart problems, God Bless. We are planning on my brother skipping Space Mtn, Splash Mtn, rides such as those, but I think he will do okay (Doctor agreed) on Indiana Jones. 8 more days!!!!
