We are currently staying at SSR and my DMIL forgot to bring extra batteries for her hearing aid. We don't have a car so where do you think we can get batteries?

Any Help will be appreciated. Thanks

They gave you a list of things that you could do and I agree with them.
Contact front desk for help.
Check with gift shops as they hide some things behind the counter.
Take a taxi to a store.
Check with Goodings and other places in the phone book for delivery.
I think the hotel front desk would be able to help you best if the gift shops are not in stock.

I called the main switchboard and they said that they do have them at the Resort Gift Shops but that also there is a possibility they may have them at the Park Camera Centers.

Also try Turner Drug - ask at your hotel's front desk, or First Aid at any park (in fact, First Aid may have actual, live, definite information about where onsite you can get hearing aid batteries). Anyway, Turner will, I think, deliver any item they sell to your resort for a $5 fee.

Turner Drugs is probably your best bet. I really doubt that Disney carries every hearing aid battery type as there are just too many different ones. I normally don't use my aids in the parks but do bring batteries I use 10s which are quite small.

There are only four sizes of hearing aid batteries, so you should do just fine. I sell use to sell aids.

This has happened to me. While at Disney in 2006, my batteries had died. Of course I used the Magical Express, so I had no car. I went to the main desk at my hotel, and they had a contact a drugstore who delivered it within an hour and I believe there was a $5 charge for it. I was frustrated, but it worked out fine!:goodvibes
