Heard this on the radio....

I always challenge anyone trying to queue jump past me. I will obstruct the path to stop them pushing past and if they have the nerve to ask if they can move down the line to meet their friends, I will tell them loudly why its not ok so that everyone else knows what they are up to.

Worst queuejumping i've seen was at Disneyland Paris. CM do nothing about it.

My Gosh, Disneyland Paris! The CM's just look on and grin at queue jumpers.

Lots of parents there encourage little children to wander under the barricades, then they "have" to go after them, and, gosh, look, they're at the front of the queue! What do you know!

I haven't had much of a problem with line jumpers/cutters. The only time I got aggravated was at Downtown Disney my last trip. My hubby and I were in line for the Pirate boat ride thingy at Disney Quest. It was a fairly long line but it was moving pretty good. Well we get to the front of the line and the next "group" to go ahead of us was a dad and his two kids, ages around 6 and 7 or so.The CM comes up to let them through and the guy INSISTED he had to wait for his wife to come back with their kid, who was about 3 or so, mom was carrying her.

After a few minutes the CM was starting to get fed up, FINALLY the mom came back. Now I completely understand a mom or dad getting out of line to take Junior to the bathroom or something. But don't hold up a line that way, or expect a long line of folks to be patient. Clearly that little girl couldn't participate on this ride, so it wouldn't have killed one of the parents to just wait outside with her.

Speaking of handicapped areas, I had a problem when we went to Fantasmic. We got AWESOME handicapped seats, right smack in the middle top area of the arena. We got there are good 1 1/2 hours before the show started. So a few minutes into Fantasmic these two terds walk up into Fanstasmic, stand directly behind us, and start yapping. I "shhhhh'd" them a few times and was about to lose my temper, when a CM approached them, and directed them to the overflow standing only area.

I'm sorry, but if I was able to walk, I would gladly give up the handicapped seating and sit somewhere else. Furthermore, I got there in PLENTY of time to get a cool spot to watch the show, you should do the same. GRRR!

Vent over :)

I don't care what language you speak. I won't let you in front of me.

I once had some Senior Citizens complain to a CM about me because I refused to let them pass. (I had already seen them do this trick in another line... they kept SHOVING folks aside saying "Senior Citizens" ) My friend asked them if they were going to die in the next 10 minutes and they said no, she then told them to WAIT! They really did go to the the CM boarding the ride and ask that we be removed from the park and told the CM why. The poor girl could barely keep a straight face as she told them no! LOL!

Excellent :rotfl:

I have had a couple of experiences also. My favorite: many years ago when my youngest DD was still in a stroller, a group of about 6 cut in front and it was just so blatantly rude that I rammed the stroller into the ankle of the last cutter which caused him excruciating pain :) I'm sure they continued their bad behavior the rest of the day but I guarantee the guy I clipped didn't bring up the rear anymore.

I have various health issues and use a walker. I have been knocked over by line jumpers! Its amazing to me how many people can be cruel to a disabled person. :confused3

That's just rude! When we went this past December, my FIL went with us and he used a wheelchair in the parks (he has bad arthritis in his feet, so he can't walk for long periods of time). Anyway, when we were in line on the speedway, a CM let us all go through a special gate, passing a few people who were ahead of us in line. I felt sick doing it! Granted we were near the front of the line, and behind maybe 10 people, but still, I felt like I was cheating!
