Could DVC be considering this? DVC at Fort Wilderness - only instead of a complex of vacation villas, it is a complex of campsites. ...
I think that there would be some demand for something like this.
I don't want to get this thread locked but the group in the second photo are clearly stuffing 6 adults in a 1 BR raft. And the additional wear and tear is quite obvious. Where are Dean and Deb & Bill when you need them![]()
I've seen smaller ones parked at the BWV - way back at the end of the valet parking area. I also recall that some have been directed to park them elsewhere - for example, at OKW, I believe you would be sent over to POR for RV parking. You need to ask when you arrive or if you have one of the monster RVs, my advice is to call the resort directly.Serious question for you (really). Can a DVC Owner park an RV at a DVC resort (while staying there)?
TIA

Sadly, I also have a serious answer.
You can park your R.V. at OKW provided it is less than 24' long and fits within the width of the parking space. (From last year's DVC quiz answers.)
My understanding is that these regulations are only for OKW and that you are not supposed to park RVs at the other DVCs. However, there are likely many exceptions granted on a case-by-case basis and I have heard about other exceptions for medical purposes if arranged in advance.
Interesting, because when we have had guests pulling a camp trailer we asked about RVs and trailers and were told they had to be parked in a specific lot at PORS. They had to drive over there, and we followed them with the rental car and picked them up.
