I don't know, I'm not gay, I'm married with two girls... we live a town over from Asbury Park, NJ (I'm sure some of you have been there) and they just had ther "gay days" and I don't see what the big deal is. Yeah, there were some guys walking down the street in all leather, with leather chaps with the butt cheeks cut out (must have been for ventilation 'cause I'm sure its darn hot in all leather!!), but I just don't really care (though I think as gay men they should have better fashion sence!). My DDs weren't with us, but if they had been, and had seen it, I would have just explained to them that.... this is called "gay days" and that its there halloween in a way. No one dresses like this all the time, its just for fun. I think you just need the right way to explain things to kids (if thats what your concern is) and they get over it pretty quickly, quicker than the adults do.
