Healthy snacks from WDW for ds' kindergarten class?

We've signed up for "snack week" the week after we return from the World. Thought it would be neat to pick up a few things while we're there for ds to bring in for snack, instead of the "boring" stuff everyone else is bringing :thumbsup2

Any ideas? It's been years since I've been (1993) and I wasn't looking for kindergarten friendly snacks when I was there. There are no allergies to be concerned about. What would you bring?

I have thought of this quite often. I think any Special K Bars or any kind of sports drink would fit into this!

I wanted to do this for my kid's classes last trip. There isn't much in the way of healthy stuff, but there are Mickey pretzels and a snack mix that might be Goofy's (with Mickey crackers). You'll have to look around for it, the candy is much more common. As well, you don't get much for your money, so depending on the class size you will need a few bags. You can get Chip 'n Dale cookies and there are shortbreads too. There are many options for candy. We brought back chocolate coins that are available with many characters on them (3 styles that I can remember), and are around 10 for 2.50. You will find lots of candy choices, but watch as some just have a WDW bag, but the candies themselves are standard. I think kids would get a bigger kick out of unique candies, not a bag!

What I did this past trip was to buy a Mickey cookie cutter and make my own RIce krispie Mickeys to take in (a lot cheaper and a little healthier than candy!). Still a nod to WDW and the kids loved them.

The Mickey cookie cutter is a great idea... do you know what kind of stores there you can find them in?
Thanks!

You can also get some Cheddar Mickey Crackers, kind of like goldfish. If you bought those, a bag of the Mickey Pretzels and mixed them with some M&M's you could make a Disney Trail Mix.

Mmm! I might use that idea!! You could buy the Mickey colors in the M&M's at any candy store at WDW. That sounds yummy!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the ideas! Unfortunately, no candy allowed and no homemade goodies. I'm glad to know there are Disney themed cheddar crackers and Mickey pretzels! Those should fit the bill!
